Description:  
Three-hour narrated train rides from Wappocomo Station, 1 mile north of Romney , wind through exceptional scenery along the South Branch Valley Railroad that includes “the trough,” a narrow mountain valley.   This train is a pleasant way to enjoy our national symbol, the bald eagle.   The train operates from the end of May to the end of October.   Call for details.

Viewing Information:  
This is one of the best and most dependable places to see bald eagles in the state.   Eagle viewing takes place from the train.   Bald eagles are present year-round, while nesting eagles can be seen from the train in May and June. Deer, geese, herons and vultures are some other species which may be seen.

Directions:  
At the intersection of   U. S. Highway 50 and State Route 28 in Romney , travel north on Route 28 for 1.4 miles to the Potomac Eagle Train.   The station is on the left.
