Woodrum Lake is a 240-acre impoundment located near Kentuck in Jackson County. Take exit 124 off I-77 5.1 miles east on County Route 19.

Description |
The lake was built in 1988 with a maximum depth of 50 feet and an average depth of 25 feet. The lake has four major arms and standing timber is present in the upper portion of each. A concrete boat ramp and handicap fishing pier are available. Boat motors are limited to a 10-hp maximum.

Fishery |
Woodrum Lake was first stocked with largemouth and smallmouth bass, bluegill, crappie, and channel catfish in 1989. A catch and release regulation for bass (largemouth, smallmouth, and spotted) is in effect. This regulation will be evaluated and changed if and when necessary to maintain good bass fishing. Current fishing regulations should be consulted.
