67. Buffalo Run
Location: Tyler County
One mile west of Little on Route 14.
Size: 143 acres
Terrain: ranges from river bottom to moderate upland slopes with a patchwork of old fields and oak-hickory forest
Hunting Prospects: deer, rabbit, squirrel, turkey
Fishing Opportunities
Middle Island Creek: unimproved boat ramp
Game Fish: smallmouth and spotted bass, channel and flathead catfish, freshwater drum, muskellunge, sunfish

68. Conaway Run Lake
Location: Tyler County
Off state Route 18 approximately 10 miles south of Middlebourne.
Size: 630 acres
Terrain: hardwood forest and brush cover most of the area
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse, rabbit, squirrel, some migratory game birds
Furbearers − beaver, fox, mink, muskrat, raccoon
Fishing Opportunities
Conaway Run Lake: 30 acres
> Small-boat ramp, trout stocked
Game Fish: largemouth bass, bluegill, channel catfish, trout

69. Frozen Camp
Location: Jackson County
East of Ripley and south of state Route 33 at Marshall, access is provided at Marshall, also from state Route 28 at Frozen Camp and secondary Route 8 in western Roane County.
Size: 2,587 acres
Terrain: hilly with wooded slopes, some open bottomland and a few open ridge tops
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, waterfowl
Fishing Opportunities
Left Fork Lake: 22 acres - electric motors only

Right Fork Lake: 20 acres - electric motors only

70. Hughes River
Location: Ritchie and Wirt counties
On both sides of state Route 47, 15 miles east of Parkersburg.
Size: 10,000 acres
Terrain: ranges from river bottoms to steep slopes with mature oak-hickory and a patchwork of young pine-hardwood stands created by even-aged timber management
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse rabbit, squirrel, turkey

71. O’Brien Lake
Location: Jackson County
To acces the boat ramp, take the Fairplains exit off of I-77 (just south of Ripley), head north and turn east on county Route 21/26 about 50 yards from I-77. Then turn left onto county Route 25, about ½ mile from Fairplains. Go about ½ mile and turn right on county Route 36 – the ramp and lake will be about six miles from county Route 25.
Size: 217 acres
Terrain: hilly and wooded
Hunting Prospects: waterfowl
Fishing Opportunities
O’Brien Lake: 217 acres - motors restricted to 10 hp or less

72. Ritchie Mines
Location: Ritchie County
On Macfarlan Creek in the southwestern part of the county. Access to the northern portion of the area is by state Route 17 and 17/4 at Mellin. The southern portion can be reached, at least seasonally, by state route 47 and 30 at Macfarlan.
Size: 2,300 acres
Terrain: rugged and wooded
The remains of a historically significant asphalt mine are located on the area.
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse, raccoon, squirrel, turkey

73. Rollins Lake
Location: Jackson County
Located on state Route 87, three miles west of Ripley.
Size: 80 acres
Terrain: flat field with lake

74. Sand Hill
Location: Wood and Ritchie counties
Twelve miles east of Parkersburg on either side of U.S. Route 50. Access to the northern portion of the area (267 acres) is from old U.S. Route 50 at the Wood/Ritchie county line. This portion has a significant amount of acreage in a safety zone around an underground sandstone mine. Access to the southern portion is either directly from U.S. Route 50 at the county line or from the Volcano Road (Route 28) south of Mountwood Park.
Size: 967 acres
Terrain: hilly and wooded interspersed with haul roads and landings from recent timbering activity and oil and gas development covered by oak-hickory forest
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse, rabbit, squirrel, turkey

75. Stumptown
Location: Calhoun and Gilmer counties
North of U.S. Route 33 at Stumptown on Lower Run. Access from Route 33 is by county Route 39 at Lockney and county Route 46 at Normantown. From county Route 7 northwest of Stumptown the area is accessible via county Routes 7/9 at Wolf Run and 7/10 at Mikes Run.
Size: 1,675 acres
Terrain: hilly and wooded with oak-hickory and oak-pine forest
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse, raccoon, squirrel, turkey
Fishing Opportunities
Lower Run watershed: intermittent streams
Middle Run watershed: intermittent streams
Game Fish: limited prospects

76. The Jug
Location: Tyler County
One and one-half miles east of Middlebourne off state Route 18, access may be limited in bad weather or by high water. For year-round access, use state Route 46 from Centerville or state Route 7 from Middlebourne.
Size: 2,848 acres
Terrain: varies from river bottoms to rolling hills with numerous fields scattered among pines and mixed hardwood forests
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse, migratory birds, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, waterfowl
Fishing Opportunities
Middle Island Creek: native muskellunge stream
Game Fish: smallmouth and spotted bass, channel and flathead catfish, freshwater drum, muskellunge, sunfish

77. Turkey Run
Location: Jackson County
Immediately north of Ravenswood on state Route 68.
Size: 27 acres
Terrain: small hills with some woods surrounding the lake
Hunting Prospects: none

78. Woodrum Lake
Location: Jackson County
On Middle Fork of the Pocatalico River, Woodrum Lake WMA can be reached from I-77 either by state Route 42 at Romance or by state Route 19 at Kentuck.
Size: 1,696 acres
Terrain: hilly with oak-hickory and oak-pine timber interspersed with abandoned farms
Hunting Prospects: deer, grouse, rabbit, squirrel, turkey, waterfowl
Fishing Opportunities
Woodrum Lake: 240 acres - motors restricted to 10 hp or less
