Reserve Now for September Cabin and Cottage Discounts

Now is the time to start planning a visit to West Virginia State Parks to enjoy pre-autumn in the mountains of West Virginia, according to Sis Summers, State Parks program administrator. Guests are invited to take advantage of West Virginia State Parks’ late-summer travel discounts for cabins and cottages from September 4-30, 2007.

Fifteen state parks and forests offer discounts ranging from 15 percent to 40 percent off standard nightly rentals depending upon the area for midweek rentals. The discount amounts vary by park.

This special is only available at Beech Fork, Blackwater Falls, Bluestone, Cacapon Resort, Canaan Valley Resort, Holly River, Lost River, Pipestem Resort, Twin Falls Resort, Tygart Lake and Watoga state parks and Cabwaylingo, Greenbrier, Kumbrabow and Seneca state forests when requesting the September cabin and cottage midweek special.

A minimum two-day rental is required with the exception of Pipestem Resort, which requires a three-night minimum. Reservations are recommended. Discounts at specific parks or forests are posted online at www.wvstateparks.com, click on Packages/Cabin Discounts for details or call 1-800-CALL WVA and ask for the participating area and discount details.
