Groundhog Day Prediction from French Creek Freddie

It’s time to get ready for a warm spell as West Virginia State Wildlife Center ’s weather prognosticator, French Creek Freddie, didn’t see his shadow on Friday, February 2, 2007 at 10:00 am . According to Groundhog Day tradition we can expect an early spring this year.

Contact Rob Silvester at the West Virginia Wildlife Center in Upshur County at (304) 924-6211 for details. Freddie is upset at being awakened and isn’t taking calls right now.
