Guitar Workshop Weekend at Twin Falls Resort State Park
March 23-25

Fingerpicking, flatpicking, chords, licks and jam etiquette will be topics covered during a weekend Guitar Workshop, scheduled for Friday, March 23 through Sunday, March 25, at Twin Falls Resort State Park near Mullens in Wyoming County. Instructors include:

• Rob Kessinger of St. Albans, West Virginia, a winner of the National Flatpicking Championship at Winfield, Kansas, as well as many other championships in dozens of festivals around the country;
• Wayne Henderson of Rugby, Virginia, who not only plays guitars but also builds them, including one for Eric Clapton, and who has played at Carnegie Hall, Lincoln Center, the White House, and at potluck dinners at the Rugby Rescue Squad;
• Jim Ritchey of Greensboro, North Carolina, who claims to be just a folk singer but who has performed all over the country and all over the map, including backing up blues greats like Manse Lipscomb. He also is an instructor at the Augusta Heritage Workshop’s Blues Week.

The weekend package of $250 per person is based upon single occupancy in a lodge room at Twin Falls Resort State Park. Additional roommate packages are available.
