Professional Bass Fisherman Davy Hite to Appear At West Virginia’s Celebration of National Hunting and Fishing Days September 23-24, 2006 at Stonewall Jackson Lake State Park

Professional bass fisherman Davy Hite will appear during both days of the 2006 West Virginia National Hunting and Fishing Days Celebration Saturday, September 23 and Sunday, September 24 at Stonewall Jackson Lake State Park in Lewis County (Interstate 79, Exit 91.)

Hite, who has nearly 15 years experience as a touring pro, will conduct bass fishing seminars Saturday from 4 p.m. to 5 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. to noon and from 3 p.m. to 4 p.m. During his career Hite has established himself as one of the most successful anglers of all times. He has four major titles to his credit: 1997 and 2002 BASS Angler of the Year, 1999 Bassmasters Classic Champion, and 1998 FLW Championship Winner. He has won eight national tournaments and qualified for the Bassmasters Classic in an impressive 12 of 14 seasons. His career earnings exceed $1.5 million. He is also highly regarded as a seminar speaker known for his informative and entertaining style. He and his wife Natalie make their home in Ninety Six, North Carolina, with their sons Parker and Peyton.

The National Hunting and Fishing Days Celebration is hosted by the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources and the West Virginia Wildlife Federation. Admission will be $3 for adults, $1 for children 15 and younger, and anyone age 3 and younger will be admitted free.
