New Chief Logan Lodge Offers Special Labor Day Rates

The new Chef Logan Lodge, located just one mile off Route 119 between Chapmanville and Logan, West Virginia, is offering a special Labor Day rate for Sept1- 7, according to West Virginia State Parks officials.  Special daily rates for rooms and suites range from $65 to $100.

“The Chief Logan Lodge is West Virginia's newest lodging facility, and one of the best,” says Sam England, spokesman for West Virginia State Parks. “Because we’re a state park we offer a quiet, clean and comfortable stay where scenic surroundings abound It is common to wake up in the morning to deer, turkey and an abundance of song birds and other wildlife."

The lodge offers beautifully furnished rooms and suites with wireless Internet connection, indoor pool, hot tub, and exercise room. Each suite includes amenities such as a fireplace, microwave and refrigerator. The new lodge is adjoined to the park’s conference center and restaurant, which opened four years ago.  The restaurant is scheduled to open later in the month for full service meals.

Chief Logan State Park features an outdoor amphitheater, picnic shelters, mini-golf, museum, and wildlife exhibit.
