DNR's Physically Challenged Advisory Board to Meet

January 24th in Charleston

The Physically Challenged Advisory Board of the West Virginia Division of Natural Resources (DNR) will hold its next meeting on Tuesday, January 24, 2006 in Charleston . The meeting will begin at 1 p.m. in the Director's Conference Room, which is located on the 6 th floor of Building #3 at the State Capitol Complex. The public is invited to attend.

The DNR's Physically Challenged Advisory Board consists of representatives who represent a variety of disabilities and geographic areas of the state to address the special needs of the state's citizens. Since its creation in 1999, the committee has done a great deal of work resulting in the addition of 20 physically challenged accessible sites for anglers, additional lakes for seasonal use by Class Q permit holders (paralyzed in both lower extremities), and the establishment of the Class Q antlerless deer seasons.
