Customized Outdoor Package Creations At North Bend State Park

  You can create your own outdoor package by taking advantage of the “Get Outdoors! by Design Package” or the “Peddle! Paddle! Fore! Package” at North Bend State Park in Cairo, West Virginia.

  The Get Outdoors! by Design Package is available from now through August 29, 2005 , any two consecutive nights Monday through Thursday.  It includes two nights in a lodge at North Bend State Park, one box lunch and a choice of two outdoor excursions. Excursion choices include a two to four hour guided canoe trip on the North Bend Lake ; nine holes of golf at the North Bend Golf Course with cart included; and a biking trip on the North Bend Rail Trail with half day bike rental included. Package price is $199 per person, based on double occupancy and includes all taxes.

  The Peddle! Paddle! Fore! Package is available from now through August 29, 2005, any three consecutive nights Sunday through Wednesday. This soft adventure package includes a three-night stay at the park lodge and a two to four hour guided canoe trip on the North Bend Lake; nine holes of golf at the North Bend Golf Course with cart included; a biking trip on the North Bend Rail Trail with half day bike rental included; and the option to ride a horse drawn carriage on the North Bend Rail Trail. Package price is $250 per person, based on double occupancy and includes all taxes.

  Carriage rides are available prior to 7 p.m. on Sunday, canoe lake tours are available Tuesday or Wednesday evening, bike rentals are from Monday through Saturday and golf 9-hole play are from Monday through Saturday.

  Packages include other amenities such as a daily dip at North Bend 's outdoor pool, access to the park's hiking trails, mini-golf and nature and recreation events.
