Public Land Corporation Meeting June 16 in Charleston

 

  The Public Land Corporation Board of the State of West Virginia will meet on June 16,2005 , at 1 p.m. in the Division of Natural Resources Conference Room, State Capitol Complex, Building 3, Room 674, Charleston, West Virginia. The meeting is being called to discuss business pertaining to state-owned real estate transactions as follows:

 

1. OLD BUSINESS:

A. Department of Agriculture-Marshall County-72.33 acres - transfer to Marshall County Commission.

B. Cass Scenic Railroad State Park- land exchange with adjacent landowners.

C. Department of Agriculture - Monroe County - 2.208 acres - transfer to Monroe County Commission on behalf of the Sweet Springs Cemetery Association.

D. Department of Agriculture - Randolph County - 18.166 acres - transfer to the Randolph County Commission on behalf of the Brick Church Cemetery Association.

E. Department of Agriculture - Braxton County - sale of former Gassaway Farmers Market to the Elk Soil Conservation District.

F. Division of Natural Resources - Marion County - competitive bid sale of the former District Office located in Fairmont.

G. Division of Natural Resources - Marshall County - competitive bid sale of a residence located in the City of Moundsville.

  

H. Tug Fork Wildlife Management Area - land exchange with adjacent landowner. I. Division of Natural Resources - Wildlife Resources Section - Kanawha County ­land exchange with adjacent landowner.

 

2. NEW BUSINESS:

A. Division of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Section, Nathaniel Mountain WMA - Hampshire County - proposed leasing of oil and gas.

B. Wood County Commission - Fort Boreman Hill property- Wood County - PLC to release deed reservation.

C. Department of Agriculture-Mason County - competitive bid sale of 26.61 acres.
