May Turkey Hunting Law Violation Citations Issued by DNR in District 4

  This month Division of Natural Resources conservation officers in District 4 issued citations to three hunters for violations of state wildlife laws related to the spring turkey hunting season, in addition to eight previously reported citations issued in April. The spring gobbler season ran from April 25 to May 21. District 4 includes the counties in southeastern West Virginia .

•  May 5, 2005 , Cabin Creek , Wyoming County, Joe R. Goode of Pineville was cited with hunting turkey over bait.

 

•  May 14, 2005 , Cavendish Road , Greenbrier County , Matthew Fleshman and Charles W. Fleshman, both of Rainelle, were cited with hunting over bait and conspiracy to violate Chapter 20 ( West Virginia wildlife laws) of the West Virginia State Code.
