41st Annual Show-Me-Hike at Greenbrier State Forest

April 29-30, 2005

The 41st Annual Show-Me-Hike is scheduled for April 29-30 at Greenbrier State Forest near White Sulphur Springs. The spring wildflower weekend is presented by the Old White Garden Club of White Sulphur Springs and Greenbrier State Forest .

The event kicks off with a Friday evening program on bugs, animals and snakes. An early morning bird walk at 8 a.m. precedes the various organized wildflower hikes lead by knowledgeable guests on Saturday. Short morning and afternoon hikes are also available.

All tours are geared for fun, the love of nature, and an opportunity to see and identify rare and unusual spring wildflowers. The "hike pace" is suitable for all ages and is not considered difficult.

For more information about the Show-Me-Hike, please call (304) 536-2500 or (304) 536-1944.
