Birding Weekend at Pipestem Resort State Park

April 8-10

   Nature lovers will be able to take advantage of the Birding Weekend scheduled for April 8-10, 2005, at Pipestem Resort State Park in Summers County , West Virginia

  This event will start with a search for nocturnal raptors at 7 p.m. on Friday.  On Saturday, take a tour of local bird hot spots and enjoy a bird-friendly evening entertainment. Sunday will conclude with a bird banding demonstration and a bird walk in search of Pipestem's birds.

  The birding package includes all activities and Saturday evening dinner. The package price with lodge accommodations for two nights is $143.20 for single, $168.68 for double occupancy and $38.56 for each additional person. Package without overnight accommodation is $25.48 per person.
