Easter Activities at West Virginia State Parks

  For family fun activities during the Easter weekend, West Virginia State Parks will host various events at Pipestem Resort, Cacapon Resort, Blackwater Falls , Tomlinson Run, Twin Falls Resort and North Bend state parks. Events are fun for all ages.

March 23-27, Pipestem Resort State Park, Pipestem, WV-Easter Celebration

Visitors will enjoy special holiday activities including nature, recreational and craft programs. Among the variety of things to do are egg coloring, egg hunt, hikes and nature events. For a complete schedule and prices, please contact the park at (304) 466-1800.

March 25-27, Cacapon Resort State Park , Berkeley Springs, WV- Easter Weekend Getaway

Enjoy a full weekend of activities including egg coloring, egg hunt, crafts, hikes and a Sunrise Service. Package includes lodging for two nights, meals and all scheduled activities for $123.73 per person based on double occupancy. For more information, please contact the park at (304) 258-1022.  

March 26, Blackwater Falls State Park , Davis , WV -Easter Egg Hunt

Children ages 12 and younger will have the chance to hunt for 1,000 Easter eggs filled with treats and visit the Easter Bunny during this special day. The event starts at 1:30 p.m. and there is no charge. For more information, please contact the park at (304) 259-5216.

March 26, Tomlinson Run State Park, New Manchester , WV -Easter Egg Hunt
Children are invited to gather colorful Easter eggs filled with candy in this event. Ticket sales close at 12:45 p.m. and the Easter egg hunt begins at 1:00 p.m. There is a minimal fee for this event. For further information, please contact the park at (304) 564-3651.

March 26, Twin Falls Resort State Park , Mullens , WV – Easter Egg Hunt

More than 2,000 eggs will be hidden in the ball field for this event. The egg hunt will start at 1 p.m. and the cost is $1.00 per child. Participants should come early and bring their Easter baskets. For more information, please contact the park at (304) 294-4000.

March 27, North Bend State Park, Cairo , WV -Easter Activities

Begin Easter with a Sunrise Service at 6:30 a.m. and then enjoy a continental breakfast beginning at 7 a.m. for $3.95 per person. An Easter lunch buffet from 11 a.m. through 5 p.m. and an Easter egg hunt at 2 p.m. with an appearance by the Easter Bunny are also available on Sunday. There is no charge for the egg hunt.
