Go Hike Weekend at Twin Falls Resort State Park March 18-20

 

   Twin Falls Resort State Park will host Go Hike Weekend from March 18 - 20, 2005. This event will offer a mini-workshop type setting with lecture and in-the-field trail instruction. It will also feature backpacking experiences, equipment considerations, geocaching in West Virginia State Parks , survival, Leave No Trace Ethics and much more.

  Workshops will begin Friday evening and continue through Sunday afternoon with each session addressing various topics. The package price of $120 per person includes two nights of lodging, weekend instruction, Saturday afternoon refreshment, Saturday evening buffet dinner and hiking/ survival/first aid literature. Cabin rates and other package prices are available.

 

  Twin Falls Resort State Park is set in the rugged mountains of southern West Virginia near Mullens. The park provides 11 hiking trails varying from remote wooded paths to scenic walks to the two falls for which the park is named.
