Blackwater Falls State Park Hosts a Murder Mystery Weekend March 18-20

  Blackwater Falls State Park near Davis , WV , will offer a Murder Mystery Weekend featuring the Full House Players in “Utopia.” This event begins at 7 p.m. on Friday, March 18, at the lodge and continues through the weekend. It concludes on Sunday morning, March 20.

 

  This is an interactive murder mystery theater in which the cast presents the play in events and activities that revolve around the audience. Guests will interact with characters in the plot to solve the murder or murders and win a prize.

 

  Blackwater Falls State Park will be the setting for Election Weekend for the country of Utopia. During this time the audience, citizens of Utopia, will not only be able to cast ballots for chancellor but will also have the opportunity to meet and even speak with all the candidates who are running for the highest office in the land.

 

  The weekend will be filled with activities revolving around the candidates. Saturday evening's dance will be a pre-inaugural ball, so participants are encouraged to dress formally to win prizes for best dressed. However, it is not required that participants appear in formal wear.

 

  The package price is $196.96 per person, based on double occupancy. All package prices include two nights of lodging; dinner on Friday; welcome reception with wine and cheese social on Friday; breakfast, lunch and dinner on Saturday; Saturday night dance and non-alcoholic refreshments; breakfast on Sunday; all murder mystery events; all prizes; and all taxes and gratuities.
