The WV Division of Natural Resources, Wildlife Resources Section is sponsoring the first annual “Let's Talk Turkey” Beyond BOW (Becoming an Outdoors-Woman) event, April 9, 2005 , at Camp Creek State Park in Mercer County . Registration for this Beyond-BOW event will continue through March 18, 2005 .

This all-day event encourages women to bring their families out to learn about turkey calls, turkey decoys, and various turkey hunting methods. A registration fee of $10 per adult and $5 per child (age 8-15) will cover lunch and instruction. Campsites will be available at the park, for a small fee, for families who would like to extend their park visit.

Beyond BOW events are an extension of the WV Becoming an Outdoors-Woman program. Women who have an interest in outdoor activities and want to expand their education participate in these programs.
