Swimming Area at Tygart Lake to Close August 14

Due to late season staffing difficulties and the poor and potentially hazardous physical condition of certain aging infrastructure, the swimming area at Tygart Lake State Park near Grafton is being closed Monday August the 14th.  As these difficulties are likely to continue, park officials anticipate that this swimming area will not be reopened in 2007.
